Artifact: Gymnastics Backwards Roll Straddle Rubric

Date: Fall 2014

Reflection: During PPE 213, Gymnastics, I had to create a rubric for a gymnastics movement. As a class, we were taught the backwards role straddle, and I had also read online the proper technique on the movement. The rubric was then created and  used to assess my peers psychomotor knowledge. This artifact is important to my development as a physical education teacher because I will be using rubrics as an assessment tool for my students on their skill sets during class as a reflection of my teaching ability.
